POE Ethene Copolymer / Octene-1

The plastomers are copolymers of ethylene and alpha olefin that join the gap between elastomers and plastics. The POPs bridge the gap between elastomers and plastics, with properties similar to those of rubber and plastic processability. It was one of the first polymer, which served as a bridge between the rubber and plastic industry that offers new possibilities for projection. The polyolefin POE elastomers, but also are useful when there is a need to modify the flexibility and impact. The POEs guarantee excellent workability, they are extrudable and moldable, with excellent transparency, and resistance to atmospheric agents. The POEs are divided into EOR (ethylene-1, octene Rubber) and EBR (ethylene-1 butene Rubber), are very similar, EBR has a lower crystallinity and a better impact, while EOR has a slightly stiffer mechanical resistance, induriemiento with exceptional vulcanization.

They are copolymers of propylene derivatives and ethylene metallocene catalysis and solution of n. The metallocene is a positively charged metal ion that is in the center between two cyclopentadienyl anions with a negative charge.
